I spoke about the basic schedule I had in mind for this blog in this post. With the constraints of time, resources, and ideas I've decided to amend this schedule, just slightly.
Prize Drawing Product Reviews will now be posted on the 1st Monday of the month. The winner of that prize drawing will be announced the 2nd Monday of the month. With that, there will not be a review posted on the 2nd Monday of the month. However, all other Mondays in any given month will include some sort of review. It might be a restaurant review, a book review, a movie review, or any other product review. Starting next Monday, things should be on a regular schedule.
I plan to stay on task, with the weekly Friday recipe reviews, as well as the Wednesday picture pages. If you have any products or recipes you think I might like to review, please leave a comment and let me know. I'm open to almost any suggestions.
Thanks, and stay tuned!

Money and a Goal
Money has been a constant worry in my 32 years. No one ever gave me a real need to worry about money when I was growing up, but I still managed to do it. And, I've kept up the tradition to this day.
My "Where Will You Be In 60 Years?" list has always included things like, "Have More Money" or "Save More Money" or "Be Able To Retire - And Have Money!" Money Money Money! That's what it's always about. And, frankly, I'm just tired of it.
It doesn't seem to matter how much money a person has... it's never enough. When I started my current job, almost 13 years ago, I brought home about 1/3 of what I make now. How did I do it? How did I pay my bills? I have no idea. I recently decided to enter all of my monthly spending into Microsoft Money and let me tell you, it was depressing when those final figures came into view. I'm never buying food or gas again (as I plan my Friday evening trip to Target, in my head.)
Keith changed the oil in my car last night. He wants me to buy a new car, since mine was paid off in May. I really don't want to. I'm hoping I can hold out another 3 years, until a different loan is paid off. If I can do that, plus end up with even 1/3 of the money that Microsoft tells me I'll have in a year, I might actually be able to stop worrying about money for a few minutes. But then, I'm sure I'll be signing my name on another dotted line, and 5 more years of worry will be in my future.
P.S. Yes, I am a pessimist. Why do you ask?
